Reclaim the UND Fighting Sioux
The Fighting Sioux of University of North Dakota were summarily erased in part by partisan politicians and the NCAA against the wishes of Natives, public and students. At games the Fighting Sioux are still cheered and supported by all. It's long time that the politicians and the NCAA should be held accountable for their actions.
What we're doing
We're communicating the 90% Native American opinion that Natives have no problem with our Native names and imagery. We advocate with University of North Dakota and NCAA decision makers, donors, politicians, media and sponsors for the Fighting Sioux name and imagery to be returned.
